As a forerunner to
the application per se, an HTML-based prototype is first developed. This phase
helps gain numerous benefits that translate into reduced time for implementing
a higher-quality application. To be able to improve the construction of the
prototypes in a reduced time-frame, and meet all the client's requirements,
Info Builder web application was developed. Info Builder is a three-tier
web application fulfilling the standards of Soft Solutions' V6 architecture.
Info Builder is a point-and-click graphical tool for
constructing prototypes. It allows users to develop applications by dragging
and dropping images and objects such as list boxes, drop-down lists, and
command buttons in order to construct the HTML page. This HTML page is then
saved on the server side as an XML-friendly representation. |
